Hi Patrick.

The splash stuff has changed a lot recently, could you give this change
a try:

Maybe you want to grab the updated init script too since all the actual
iptables rule building is moved to the splash executable now and the
init script just does some minimal setup.

I hope to find some spare time this weekend to take a closer look at it.
