[luci] how to debug LuCI ?

hi, all

I'm struggling to understand LuCI in depth。It's really not easy for me as a
new learner to Lua and LuCI。
I think it may be easyer  to read and learn the sources of LuCI while runing
and debugging the sources in the same time.
But how can I debug LuCI ? Any idea or advice would be welcome. Tons of
