Oh I see... I use NoScript in Firefox, so I usually have Javascript
disabled. Which means that the Value field showed up as a simple input
form, making the pre-defined values fed from /usr/lib/ddns/services
pretty useless; this is why I though it was a mistake.

Nevertheless, in case of a custom provider, is this field useful at all?
As far as I understand, only the section name helps avoiding clashes
with other configs (the ddnsname in 'config service ddnsname');
'service_name' is only useful if defined in /usr/lib/ddns/services, in
which case it would appear in the drop-down list. Am I missing
something?
