#195: vnstat config and database not saved between reboots
-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------
 Reporter: reporter | Type: enhancement
   Status: new | Priority: minor
Milestone: | Component: LuCI Applications
 Keywords: vnstat, luci-app-vnstat |
-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------
This is on a Netgear WNDR3700 using OpenWRT trunk r25259 and several
previous versions with latest luci trunk integrated in a squashfs image.

With luci-app-vnstat and the vnstat packages installed I can set up the
vnstat configuration from the luci web interface and view the results.
They log data and update properly as expected. Upon a reboot of the device
the vnstat config and database are cleared and require reconfiguration
from the web interface before data is again recorded and graphed.

If at all possible the vnstat luci setup should use, modify and report
current settings in /etc/vnstat.conf and/or /etc/config/vnstat. It would
also be great if there was an option included in the luci vnstat config
interface to specify the database location on external USB, NFS, SMB, etc.
or the JFFS overlay so that the logged data is saved between reboots.
Without maintaining the database and config between reboots vnstat is semi
 non-functional for its intended purpose.
