[luci] How to setup a platform.sh file so that Luci will perform system upgrades via the administration function?

The board, in fact it seems like most of the processor family for PowerPC does not have an effective 'upgrade', as there are only a few boards that have the /lib/upgrade/platform.sh file, which the Luci administration scripts check for.

How does one write a minimal 'platform.sh' to overcome this lack?
