Hello to all -
I have been working away on creating new application modules and using the
CBI model approach to build webpage content. I am trying to understand a
little more about the relationship between LuCi and setting the
configuration of applications like dropbear, asterisk etc - this I know is
probably more UCI/OpenWRT territory and I'll try to be specific in my
questions, but I was curious about the asterisk-xip module that JOW had
added to the trunk - and also I had enabled a kernel wireless module and saw
on the target that the wireless config file, which had been blank, was
populated with information and the webpages reflected this:
Q. do applications like dropbear use the UCI interface to read/write to the
same config files in /etc/config that LuCi does or is it, that there are UCI
scripts that write/read to dropbear config files to synchronise them with
the config information in etc/config?
Q. With regard to the asterisk-xip module, is this different/special from
typical applications programmed by LuCi because asterisk has so many config
files?
Q. does the UCI code supporting asterisk write/read information to the
asterisk database (astDb)?
Thanks again
Paul
