Hi.

That is not needed and actually harmful. The <%:..%> markup already
ensures that the text is escaped.

For example "<%:Save & Apply%>" is resolved to "Save &#38; Apply" .
With your patch, the text will appear wrongly as "Save &#38;amp; Apply".
