Hi!
I bumped into the same problem a couple of days ago and suggested
a fix. However, the situation is a more complex, see
https://lists.openwrt.org/pipermail/openwrt-devel/2016-January/038518.html
I'm working on a final fix which will allow all EAP variants to be
modelled properly in UCI and yet remain compatible with existing
configurations and user-interfaces.
In the meantime, try eddting /etc/config/network (or use the uci
command-line tool) and prepend 'auth=' to the auth uci option,
resulting in 'auth=MSCHAPV2' being the value of the configuration
variable. This should work until a proper fix made it upstream.
Cheers
Daniel
